Yeah, they don't have high school graduations in Britain. I'm not sure if universities have graduation ceremonies or not, but JK has said in interviews that there isn't a wizard university system.
There are a couple of wonderful Britpicking communities on LJ where you can find stuff like this out or you can look up 'education in Britain' on Wikipedia.
