What is the Wishlist?

The Wishlist is a multi-fandom Christmas fanfiction fest. It is something that started very small and simple three years ago. The premise was simply to write twenty-four ficlets in response to twenty-four prompts, posted between 1 Dec and 24 Dec. Fandom gifts, if you will. Since then it's grown and changed a bit.

I have signed up to be a writer & artist and if you want to give me a prompt, please leave a comment on this entry.

Rules

- I accept the first 6 prompts I am given, regardless of who you are or if I know you.

- You give me characters/pairing, a fandom and a prompt. If you want art, please give me a story, scene or fandom you would like me to create art for. Please provide a link.

- If I don't know the fandom you're requesting, your prompt doesn't count. The fandoms I write/draw in are:

f- Doctor Who (Series 5-7 though. So 11 era).


- If I find your prompt in any way offensive, I will disregard it, too. Fair warning.

- Your prompts should somewhat match what I usually write/draw. It can be a quote, an idea, a specific situation, but the more you give me, the more I have to work with. Throwing Character X/Character Y, whatever at me is going to get you whatever.

Slash/Femmeslash of canon characters (can do so with OCS, OC/OC though), incest/cross-gen, infidelity, rape, darkfic, unhappy endings, graphic violence/sexual/ kink material (so no R/NC-17), ooc-ness, broken relationships (divorces, no longer friends,etc), Character bashing/villification (ex. seemingly good mentor/friend was evil all along), homophobic/racist/sexist themes, religious bashing, unrequired love.

1. lash_larue. Art. Harry Potter - postwar, in the rubble of Hogwarts. Luna. Harry-  "I always believed in you, Harry."

2. moriann. Pushing Daisies. Character: Emerson & ensemble. Prompt: Emerson is the one who can revive people with a touch.

3. xgirl2222- Percy Jackson/POI (After the 2nd Movie). Characters: Percy/Annabeth, John, Finch.-- Percy and Annabeth's numbers come up in the machine. At first Finch and John can't figure out why their both in danger. Then their both kidnapped, and it seems it's because Percy biological father is a wealthy and mysterious figure as is Annabeth's mother. That's when things take a turn for the weird.

4. kate34books- PoI/Castle- Joss Carter, Zoe Morgan, Kate Beckett, Harold Finch, Reese, Rick Castle.

Prompt: Joss Carter joins forces with Kate Beckett to try to growing threat.

Prompt: Turns out those pocket watches are even more special than they imagined.

Hi,

When you say Percy Jackson do you mean the books or the movies? I really like the movies but have never read the books and I've heard their quite different.

mmm... Both. (I wasn't a fan of the first movie (You heard right, the 1st movie deviated A lot from the books), but it's grown on me, and I really loved the second one- so yeah Both. I can't recommend the books enough though- they're Really, really good (not as good as HP, Narnia, or LoTR--- but still pretty great).

However, I won't write/Draw Brunette-WarriorGirl!Annabeth nor Black!Grover as those are deviations from book canon that were a bit jarring for me.

but anything else, go ahead and ask. (and wether you want Art or Fic)

Mostly, I was concerned about the ages. I need Percy, and Annabeth to be the 17/18 years old they are in the movies, and not the 11/12 I hear they are in the books.

Prompt: When a half-blood diplomat is murdered in NY, the Aurors are sent to work with the NYC department much to Kate´s desbelief & Rick´s delight. plus Alexis discovers a secret kept from her.

just one quick question- I'm only family with Doctors 10 & 11 (tennant & Smith's) series of Doctor who (so- series 4-7?)
is there any significance to pocket watches in the Doctor Who verse?

In series 3, ten and Martha are being chased by a species called The Family of Blood who want to use the Doctor's life essence to live forever. Because they can basically track him anywhere by the way time lord smells, he uses the chameleon arch to overwrite his DNA and make him completely human. The chameleon arch takes everything that makes him a time lord and puts it into a pocket watch, safe, until he opens the watch to become a time lord again. I don't know if I'm explaining that right, but it's close? The episodes are called Human Nature and Family of Blood and they are pretty good, if you ever get a chance to watch them (they'll probably be on BBCA on Wednesday when they marathon ten's episodes). Hope that helps!

so basically- the Three (aka Charles charles, Dwight dixon and Ned's father) becomes temporary timelord? (something like that?)

yep! or the three of them were time lords who escaped to earth for whatever reason, and so Ned and Chuck are actually part time lord, part human. ohhh! Maybe Ned is using a tiny touch of regeneration energy every time he brings someone back to life? Totally up to you.
